Biomethane will have to play a key role in enabling Austria and the EU Member States in achieving their national and EU-wide climate and energy targets. However, the further development of the biomethane market is very complex and must therefore be able to build on the interaction of professional experts from different fields.

AGCS is in regular exchange with the relevant market participants and stakeholders. AGCS is in close contact with the Austrian Association of Gas and Heat Supply (Fachverband Gas Wärme, FGW) and the Austrian Compost and Biogas Association (Kompost und Biogas Verband, KBV) the interest group of biogas and biomethane producers in Austria and the Austrian Technical Association for the Gas and Water Industry (Österreichische Vereingung für das Gas- und Wasserfach, ÖVGW). AGCS is also in close contact with relevant stakeholders on an international level, which is made possible by its active participation in the pan-European association ERGaR European Renewable Gas Registry.
